Aerospace Surface Treatments is the finishing division of Inflite Engineering Services Ltd, part of the Swan Investment Group of companies.
Originally operating as an in-house service provider for the engineering arm of the business, then HE Ltd, it adopted the AST trading name in 1996 following a £3.5million investment at its facility in Chelmsford, Essex. Three new wet treatment lines and a state of the art Spraybake paint facility, built with a further £1.2m of investment in 2019, allows AST to become a key player in the surface engineering industry.
Offering a vast range of NDT and surface engineering approvals, its name has become synonymous with service times and quality within the industry.
